It’s a race against rain for this year’s Nehru trophy
Elaborate arrangements have been made by the district administration for the smooth conduct of the 61st edition of the Nehru Trophy Boat Race to be held on Punnamada Backwaters at 2pm on Saturday.
Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, district collector N Padmakumar said that as many as 63 boats including 22 snake boats would participate in the event.
